TurningPoint Systems announces the general release of its Customer Portal

TurningPoint Systems, Inc., a leading provider of warehouse and distribution solutions to the pharmaceutical, candy and tobacco, and food service industries, announced the release of its Customer Portal for wholesale distributors.

Developed in a unique collaboration with a team of its customers, its features and functionality reflect the clearly defined business requirements they needed in a web-based system.

The new Customer Portal provides Internet access availability 24/7. This solution provides real-time access to product, order and accounts receivable information. Retail Customers can access their wholesaler’s website to review price books, view product information, produce velocity reports, review purchase history, create and enter orders as well as to review promotional programs.

The Customer Portal incorporates an advanced technology solution that seamlessly integrates the web browser with its application software resident on its customers’ IBM iSeries computer. This not only extends the application code and database to the Internet, it also extends the capabilities of the iSeries computer to the Internet.

The core of the new system is ProfitPoint. ProfitPoint, the company’s flagship product, consists of a full suite of e-enabled modules such as sales order management, warehouse management, supplier relationship management, route accounting, and financial reporting and analysis.

TurningPoint Systems is pleased to announce the delivery of the first phase from our Tactical Advisory Committee. Phase one of the Customer Web Portal has been delivered and the final phase of the web portal is projected to be delivered during the next two months.
