The wholesale drug distribution version of ProfitPoint, ProfitPoint/Rx, contains features and functionality designed specifically to handle the unique requirements of pharmaceutical and health and beauty aids wholesale distributors, manufacturers, and retail chain stores. DEA Registration
Customer’s DEA registration license and expiration dates, state registration numbers with expiration dates, and allowable schedules to purchase in accordance with the customer’s DEA number ensure compliance with controlled substance laws.
Controlled Substances
Identify items with appropriate federal narcotic, prescription, or non-prescription codes.
NDC Numbers
Automatic cross-referencing of customer’s internal item numbers with the National Drug Code for ordering, buying, credit returns, merchandise returns, and inquiry purposes.
Contracts / Chargebacks
Comprehensive contract management capability automatically tracks all hospital shipments and calculates appropriate charge-back fees to be posted to either Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable. Group contracts manage manufacturer and merchandising based arrangements.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Transmit purchase order and charge-back data electronically via industry standard EDI X12 for purchase orders, charge backs, and other transactions.
