Rick Gabrielli is a proven leader with over 20 years management experience in a variety of
technical environments and disciplines, including: planning, design and development of high
transaction web based service orientated architecture for business applications. For more
than six years, Mr. Gabrielli has assisted biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms streamline
and integrate data management applications for R&D laboratories and pre-clinical drug discovery
processes. He is the architect of DiscoverTrac™, BioPoint’s flagship product. Mr. Gabrielli
also excels in the areas of business process and management methodologies. Prior to BioPoint,
Rick was a partner at Acuity, a bioinformatics software consulting firm. In the past, Rick held
senior IT positions at a number of top level firms, including: OneCore Financial, a CMGI
company, SystemSoft, Gillette, Logica North America, Fidelity, and State Street Bank.
Mr. Gabrielli holds a B.S. from Bridgewater State College in Computer Science.
Elery LaBlanc brings over 25 years experience as a CEO to Biopoint. Mr. LeBlanc is the CEO of TurningPoint Systems. Since 1979, TurningPoint Systems has provided information management services to Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike, including: Zayre Corporation, Gould Modicon, Westinghouse, and GTE Sylvania. With the successful achievements of TurningPoint Systems, Mr. LeBlanc secured ownership rights to the software and began to market it as a packaged system solution. Twenty five years later, TurningPoint has evolved into a premier distribution and logistics solutions provider for the small to medium-sized wholesale distributors.
